Sonay Göktas is a Professor at the University of Health Sciences, Turkey. She completed her PhD studies at the Department of Surgical Diseases Nursing, Marmara University Health Sciences Institute in 2008. She worked as Nursing Services Manager at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine Foundation Academic Hospital between 2005 and 2013, and as “Assistant Professor” at Maltepe University and Medipol University in 2013–2017. She was appointed to the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Health Sciences on 4 July 2017. Her research interests include nursing; self-care; communication skills.
