Dr. Lingqiao Kong obtained her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Wuhan University in 2008 and 2010, respectively, and then she earned her PhD degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018. Since 2018, he has served as an Assistant Professor at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research mainly focuses on GIS and RS and their application in Ecosystem assessment, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem service function.
Prof. Zhiyun Ouyang obtained his PhD degree in Systems Ecology from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1993. He is a professor of ecology, and the director of the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is the president of the Ecological Society of China, and the vice-president of the Ecological Economic Society of China. His research focuses on ecosystem assessment, ecosystem services, ecosystem restoration and biodiversity conservation. He is a well-established national leader in the area of ecosystem assessment and restoration, and biodiversity conservation, and has played an active role in conservation policy innovation in China since 2000. His research is notable for its profound influence on, and broad applications to, policy making for ecosystem conservation, restoration, and land management from local to national scales in China.
