Prof. Dr. Chenggao Li, a doctor of engineering mechanics, is an associate professor and master’s supervisor at the School of Civil Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology, a member of the Harbin Institute of Technology Young Scientist Studio team, and a member of the Heilongjiang Province “Leading Goose” team. His research interests lie in fiber composite structures for civil engineering. He has presided over 10 national and provincial and ministerial projects. He has published more than 60 academic papers, including 34 SCI papers as the first/corresponding author in important academic journals. He has applied for 20 national invention patents and had 11 of them authorized. He serves as the academic editor of Advances in Materials Science and Engineering, and the International Journal of Polymer Science; as an editorial board member of Buildings, Polymers, and Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering; as a Topical Advisory Panel Member for more than 10 SCI/ESCI journals; as an editorial board member for eight international professional journals, including the American Journal of Construction and Building Materials and the Journal of Civil and Environmental Engineering; and as a reviewer for more than ten SCI journals, including Engineering Structures, Composite Structures, Composite Part B: Engineering, Construction and Building Materials, and Polymer Composites.
