Nikolaus von Dercks is head of medical management at Leipzig University Hospital and CEO of the MedVZ gGmbH. Before that, he was a trauma surgeon at Leipzig University hospital. He studied medicine and health economics in Leipzig and Nürnberg. His academic research includes reimbursement systems and resource allocation.
