Dr. Liu is an associate professor at the Institute for Preservation and Conservation of Chinese Ancient Books, Fudan University. He earned a BS in Pulping and Papermaking Engineering from Qilu University of Technology and completed his PhD studies in Material Science at Donghua University. He has published 20 papers in various journals. His teaching disciplines include papermaking science, and his interests include papermaking, protection of heritage, science and art.
Dr. Ji is a professor at the State Key Laboratory of Biobased Material and Green Papermaking, the Qilu University of Technology, Shan-dong Academy of Sciences. She completed her PhD studies in Pulping and Papermaking Engineering at the South China University of Technology. She has published more than 100 papers in various journals. Professor Ji serves as the chief scientist of the National Key Research and Development Plan project. Her research team's "High-Performance Wood Chemical Pulp Green Preparation and High-Value Utilization Key Technology and Industrialization" project won the second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020.
