Zahid Parvez SUKHAN is a Lecturer in the Department of Fisheries Science at Chonnam National University, South Korea. He completed his Ph.D. in molecular biology and fish endocrinology at Kyushu University, Japan, as a MEXT fellow under the Japanese government. Recently, he led a research project on QTL analysis, marker-assisted selection, and sperm cryopreservation in Pacific abalone. He has authored over 40 scientific papers in various journals. His teaching areas include fisheries, reproductive physiology, breeding biology, and marine biology. His research interests span molecular biology, genetics, gene cloning and expression, gene editing, reproductive biology, sperm cryopreservation, molecular breeding, and marine biology.
