Dr. Michael C. Faudree is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science, at Tokyo City University. He is also a regular member of the ALT (Japan Association for Language Teaching), the Japan Institute of Metals (JIM), the KOTESOL (Korea: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE). He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Case Western Reserve University in 1985 and 1986, respectively. He received his Master of Teaching English as a Second Language from Arizona State University (1995). He obtained his Doctor of Engineering from Tokai University in 2014. His research keywords include English education, linguistics, second language acquisition (SLA) and theories, phonology, and English teaching methods.
