Xinjiang Hu is a Professor at the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Central South University of Forestry and Technology. In 2009, he graduated from the University of South China with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering. Then, he received his Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering and Doctorate in Environmental Science and Engineering at Hunan University in 2011 and 2015, respectively. From 2015 to 2016, he worked at South China Agricultural University, and from 2019 to 2020, he was a visiting scholar at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States. Since 2016, he has been engaged in related teaching and scientific research at Central South University of Forestry and Technology and has served as deputy director of the Department of Environmental and Ecological Engineering. He is currently the Deputy Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Central South University of Forestry and Technology and the head of the major of Environmental and Ecological Engineering. His research includes soil and water pollution ecological restoration technology, preparation and application of ecological environment restoration materials, and environmental self-cleaning materials.
