Prof. Ping-Chung Leung received his professorship in Orthopaedics & Traumatology from the Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he served as Emeritus Professor and held various leadership roles, including Director of the Centre for Clinical Trials on Chinese Medicine, Institute of Chinese Medicine, and Director of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Osteoporosis Care and Control (1996–2013). He was also Director of the State Key Laboratory of Research on Bioactivities and Clinical Applications of Medicinal Plants. From 2009 to 2012, he served as President of the International Research Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SIROT). His research topics mainly include orthopaedics, osteoporosis, microsurgery, public health, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and general education.
