Prof. Zheng-Yang Huo received the B.Sc. degree in Environmental
Science from Tongji University, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in Environmental
Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, in 2019. He was a Postdoctoral
Fellow and Research Professor in the School of Advanced Materials at
Sungkyunkwan University from 2019 to 2021. Since 2021, he has been an Assistant
Professor in the School of Environment at Renmin University of China. His
research interests mainly focus on biological risk control technology for
recycled water, and new disinfection technology.
Prof. Dr. Qingbin Yuan graduated from Tongji University with
a Ph.D. degree in Municipal Engineering in 2015. He was a Postdoctoral
Researcher at Rice University (USA) from 2018 to 2020. From 2021 to 2023, he
was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Nanjing University. Since 2023, he has been an
Associate Professor at Nanjing University. His research interests mainly focus
on Detection of Biological contaminants, Geochemical Behavior, and Risk
Prevention and Control; Antibiotic resistance in the environment; and Applications
of machine learning in the environment. He is Youth Editorial Board Member and
Guest Editor for Eco-Environment & Health.
