Faras Brumand-Poor received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2017, followed by a master's degree in electrical engineering in 2019, and a second master's degree in automation engineering in 2020, all from RWTH Aachen University. He is currently working as a Research Associate at the Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Systems at RWTH Aachen University and is pursuing his Dr.-Ing. His research focuses on machine learning, particularly deep learning, and physics-informed machine learning, as well as fluid mechanics, virtual sensory, and control engineering.
