Tingting Luo, Associate Professor at the University of Mining and Technology, China, received his Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology in 2020. He attended the University of Southampton in the UK for a joint training session from 2018 to 2019. He is a member of the Deep Earth Space Exploration and Development Branch of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering and a member of the Natural Gas Hydrate Professional Committee. He mainly focused on the safe and efficient exploitation of natural gas hydrate, and tunnel and shaft construction in the artificial freezing method. At present, he has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province.
