Dr Robert Hennings is a senior consultant in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Traumatology and Plastic Surgery at Leipzig University Hospital. He has developed a keen interest in rare inherited bone disorders, with a particular focus on improving diagnostic tools and treatment protocols for conditions such as osteoporosis and other congenital skeletal dysplasias. Dr Hennings has received awards at the VSOU Congress for his contributions to orthopaedic research. He is an active member of the German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery (DGOU). Dr Hennings remains committed to teaching, mentoring young clinicians and pushing the boundaries of orthopaedic care for patients with rare bone diseases.
