Chengxiang Li received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation from the Hubei Polytechnic University in 2022. He is now pursuing a Master's Degree in Machinery at Shanghai Ocean University. His primary areas of study interest include the design of underwater equipment and the detection of underwater targets.
Ruilong Luo is a lecturer at the School of Engineering Science and Technology, Shanghai Ocean University. He received his bachelor’s degree in vehicle engineering in 2007 and his doctorate in mechatronic engineering in 2013 from China Agricultural University. He participated in the joint training program of the Center for Precision and Automated Agricultural Systems at Washington State University from 2010 to 2012. He then joined Shanghai Ocean University as a lecturer in September 2013. He teaches undergraduate/graduate courses such as “Modern Engineering Graphics” and “Introduction
to Deep Sea Technology”. He is mainly engaged in scientific research and teaching related to the design and integration of marine engineering equipment. He presided over or participated in more than ten scientific research projects. He won the second prize in Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (as the 2nd finisher). He published a translated book “A Brief History of Deep Sea Exploration” and authorized more than ten invention patents.
Fang Wang is a researcher and vice dean of the School of Engineering Science and Technology, Shanghai Ocean University. She is the deputy director of the school’s Young Teachers Committee and head of the key innovation team of Shanghai’s high-level local universities. She has been engaged in research in key technologies of underwater pressure-resistant structural systems, the safety assessment technology of manned submersibles, and the ultimate strength and fatigue fracture of ships and marine structures for a long time. She has presided over and participated in over 20 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has won awards including the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress and the Second Prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award. She has also won honors such as Wuxi Outstanding Science and Technology Worker, Wuxi May 1st Women’s Model, Top Ten Outstanding Youths in Pudong New Area, Shanghai Education System March 8th Red Flag Bearer, and Pudong New Area Science and Technology Elite. She serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of the international journal Ocean Engineering, an editorial board member of Ships and Offshore Structures, an editorial board member of Modern Subsea Engineering and Technology, an editorial board member of China Ship Research, the director of Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Talent Association, and a member of China Ship Mechanics Society.
