Dr. Fabrizio Monaco is currently head of
Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Anesthesia at San Raffaele University Hospital in
Milan (Italy). After graduating from University of Naples Federico II, Dr.
Monaco completed his residency program at the same university. He spent a year
as a research fellow at Edinburgh University. Upon the completion of his training
in 2006, he moved to Milan, where he is a practicing cardiac anesthesiologist
and intensive care physician at San Raffaele Scientific Institute. His clinical
efforts have been an integral part of nationally recognized teams for better
cardiac surgery outcomes.
