Dr. Bernadette S. Creaven is a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at the School of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Technological University Dublin. She joined the TU Dublin city campus in September 2019 having been a lecturer in inorganic and analytical chemistry at TU Dublin Tallaght since 1995 and prior to that a lecturer in analytical chemistry at University College Cork. Her main research interests are in bioinorganic chemistry, particularly focussed on metal-based therapeutics and technologies to combat antimicrobial resistance, and in analytical and supramolecular chemistry. In addition, she is the current joint academic director of the MiCRA Technology Gateway which is based at TU Tallaght. She is a chartered member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a Fellow of the Institute of Chemistry in Ireland, and a committee member of the Irish Biological Inorganic Chemistry Society (IBICS).
