Eric W. Riddick earned a Ph.D. in Entomology from the Department of Entomological Sciences, College of Natural Resources, the University of California, Berkeley, California, USA. He held a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in the Department of Entomology at the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, USA. He has worked as a Category 1, SY, Research Entomologist with the Agricultural Research Service, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for 25 years. His work in Entomology has resulted in more than 100 publications, focusing on the applied behavioral, nutritional, and chemical ecology of insects and mites of importance to agriculture and the environment. He has presented the results of his research nationally (USA) and internationally (Mexico, Canada, Switzerland). Dr. Riddick is a Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society (FRES).
