Yuze Huang is an Assistant Professor in the Engineering Department of Lancaster University. He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering followed by a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Waterloo. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London from 2019 to 2022 and as an Assistant Professor at Coventry University in 2022–2023. His research primarily revolves around metal additive manufacturing and welding, with a key focus on process development, modelling, and optimisation, and defect digitalisation and elimination.
