David John Musendo is a Senior Researcher, Evaluator, Trainer and Founder of Lifetime Consulting & Partners Ltd UK and Lifetime Research Group in Rwanda. He is a PhD Candidate at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, specializing in disability inclusion and education. With over 20 years of experience across 20+ African countries, David has led innovative research in primary eye health care, access to education and employment for young people with disabilities, and interventions supporting children with disabilities. He spearheaded the Tiyanjane study in Malawi, a feasibility initiative to strengthen family-school-community partnerships. He is passionate about promoting the inclusion of children and young persons with disabilities as researchers. He collaborates with the MRC Uganda and the University of Nairobi on a research project focused on empowering young people with disabilities in health research. Since 2019, David has been a module tutor at LSHTM, teaching "Designing Public Health Programmes" and mentoring master’s students as they navigate the field. A member of the International Evaluation Society, David’s growing publication profile includes work on disability-inclusive policies, early childhood interventions, and innovative education solutions.
