Dr. Lindiwe Modest Faye is a dedicated medicine and health sciences researcher and academic with a PhD in Health Sciences (Medical Microbiology). Her research interests include tuberculosis (TB), HIV, HPV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). She has extensive experience in laboratory medicine, focusing on diagnostics, clinical trials, and research. Over the past decade, Dr. Faye has made significant contributions to medical and health sciences, particularly in tuberculosis research, epidemiology, and public health in rural areas of Eastern Cape, South Africa. At present, she supervises postgraduate students, conducts research, and manages laboratory operations for clinical trials. Her expertise spans research design, implementation, and publication in peer-reviewed journals. Committed to advancing health knowledge, Dr. Faye mentors young scientists, fostering the development of future researchers. Her work is driven by a passion for improving healthcare outcomes, especially in resource-limited settings.
