Prof. Dr. Dongwei Li is a Professor and a Dean of the College of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Dalian University. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, and aPh.D. in Geological Engineering from Anhui University of Science and Technology in 2002, 2005, and 2011, respectively. From 2006 to 2016, he served as a Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor at the Anhui University of Science and Technology. From 2013 to 2015, he worked at the National Natural Science Foundation of China. From 2013 to 2018, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Professor (Minjiang Scholar) at the Fujian University of Technology. From 2018 to 2023, he was a Professor at the East China University of Technology. He has long been committed to technical and scientific research on the theory and technology of artificial freezing methods, subway tunnel engineering, soft soil foundation treatment, etc. In recent years, he has presided over three National Natural Science Foundation projects and more than ten provincial and ministerial projects.
