Bru Laín is a Lecturer at the Department of Sociology of the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, where he has taught Political Theory and Sociology of Knowledge over the last few years. He holds a Ma in Political Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2011) and a PhD in Sociological from the University of Barcelona (2016). Previously, he was Predoc follow at the Concordia University (2014) and the University of Brighton (2015), and Postdoc at the Chair Hoover d’étique économique et sociale (2017), the University of Minho (2019), and the Universitat de Girona (2022). He has also been invited as a Lecturer at the University of Leeds, McGill University, ELISAVA-Univeristat Pompeu Fabra, and Universidad Nacional de Ecuador. His work deals with the intersections between social policies, political philosophy, and economic theory.
