Prof. Dr. Shiqing Li (Professor and Doctoral Supervisor) is the Deputy Director and Executive Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Soil Erosion and Dryland Farming on the Loess Plateau, College of Natural Resources and Environment, Northwest A&F University, China. He is also the director of the China Natural Resources Society, deputy director of the Soil-Plant Nutrition Committee of the China Soil Society, director of the Shaanxi Soil Society and the Shaanxi Plant Nutrition Society, etc. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Soil Agrochemistry, a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Plant Nutrition at Northwest A&F University. He has long-term engagement in dryland crop nutrient management and green production.
Prof. Dr. Ai Zhan currently works as an Associate Researcher at the Northwest A&F University. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science at Huanggang Normal University, a Master's and Doctoral Program in Plant Physiology and Ecology at Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, and a Joint Doctoral degree in Plant Science at Pennsylvania State University. She also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Nutrient Resource Management at China Agricultural University. She mainly engaged in the research of root physiology and molecular mechanisms of efficient use of water and nutrients in crops, as well as plant nutritional physiology and ecology and comprehensive management of nutrient resources.
