Dr. Jisoo Kim is a Researcher in the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage in the Republic of Korea. She has conducted many researches on disaster geography, especially focused on cultural heritage sites affected by flood and climate change. She actively participates in both domestic and international academic organizations, including ICOMOS-ICORP (International Scientific Committee on Risk Preparedness). Prof. Hyo Hyun Sung is a Emeritus Professor in the Department of Social Studies Education. With over 20 years of experience in the Geomorphology and GIS field, she has published many research articles and books such as “Delineating the spatial variation of sediment yield potential in the Upper Santa Ana River Basin”, “Activities on naming undersea features in Korea”, “Environmental and geographical education for sustainability: Cultural contexts”, etc. Also, she has served as a Dean of the Graduate School of Education at Ewha Womans University, and is a member of the IHO/IOC-GEBCO Guiding Committee, and a President of the Korean Cartographic Association. Her recent research interests include the naming of undersea features and natural hazard and disaster geography.
