Prof. Bin Hou is an Assistant Professor at the School of Microelectronics, Xidian University. He completed his PhD studies at Xidian University in 2018. In 2023, he was awarded the Innovation Team Award of the Ministry of State, the “Huashan Scholar” Talent Fund, and the CEC-Xidian Collaborative Innovation Scholarship. In addition, as a core member, he participated in a number of national scientific and technological major projects, the national key research and development program, the national advanced research program, and other projects; broke through the microwave and millimeter-wave power device power density and efficiency bottlenecks; overcame the key technology of high efficiency and high power of Si-based GaN radio-frequency power devices and high-voltage GaN power device linearity attenuation problems; solved the high threshold voltage, high drive current, and high speed of GaN power electronic devices; and achieved a series of landmark results. His research interests include GaN-based microwave and millimeter-wave high-power RF devices; Si-based GaN RF power devices and circuits; power electronics devices and integrated applications; GaN CMOS circuits and logic devices; and new broadband semiconductor materials and devices.
Prof. Ling Yang is a Professor at the School of Microelectronics, Xidian University. He completed his PhD studies in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics at Xidian University in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as an Engineer at the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) 771 Research Institute. In 2020, he was awarded the title of “Huashan Distinguished Professor”. His research interests include wideband nitride microwave/millimeter-wave power devices and circuit design and
process research.
