Author Biographies

Hyun Kwon received a B.S. degree in mathematics from the Korea Military Academy, South Korea, in 2010. He also received an M.S. degree from the School of Computing, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), in 2015, and a Ph.D. degree at the School of Computing, KAIST, in 2020. He is currently an associate professor at the Korea Military Academy. He has published two books, 65 SCI(E) papers, and 16 international conference papers. He obtained the Cyber security 2018 3rd Award (KRW 500,000), the 2018 Naver Ph.D. Fellowship Award (KRW 5,000,000), the ACM CCS 2019 Student Travel Grant Scholarship (USD 1000), the 2020 Outstanding KAIST Ph.D. Dissertation Award (KRW 200,000), and the 2020 Young information Security & Cryptology award (KRW 500,000). His research interests include information security, machine learning, computer security, and intrusion tolerant system. He is a reviewer for IEEE TVLSI, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TNSRE, Computer & Security, IEEE Access, etc. He is also an editor for International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems (Index: SCIE / Academic Editor), Security and Communication Networks (Index: SCIE / Academic Editor), IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems (Index: SCIE / Associate Editor), PLOS ONE (Index: SCIE / Academic Editor), Traitement du Signal (Index : SCIE / Regional Editor), and Revue d’Intelligence Artificielle (Index: Scopus / Editor in Chief).
