Luke Weidner received his B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from
Michigan Technological University and his Ph.D. in Geological Engineering from Colorado
School of Mines. Currently, he is a Consultant at BGC Engineering Inc. and a Research Assistant at Colorado School of
Mines. His research includes rock slope monitoring along linear
infrastructure and automated point cloud processing and interpretation using
machine learning, with a focus on remote sensing and computational modeling
applied to geotechnical hazard and risk assessment.
