Dr. Baoshan Ma graduated from Huazhong Agricultural University with a degree in aquatic biology and is a member of the Jiusan Society. Her research interests include fish resource protection and ecological aquaculture. She joined the Yangtze River Fisheries Research Institute in 2013 and is currently a postgraduate tutor at Huazhong Agricultural University, Zhejiang Ocean University, Guizhou University and Yangtze University. Her research areas include plateau fish biology and resource protection, coexistence mechanisms and interspecific relationships of river fish species, fish community construction mechanisms, and integrated farming models of fisheries and agriculture.
