A psychologist by training, Professor Sevdalis serves as Academic Director for the Centre for Behavioural and Implementation Science Interventions (BISI) and Executive Director of the Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development (CHILD). He is currently a Visiting Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and serves as the Academic Director of the Centre for Behavioural & Implementation Science Interventions (BISI). In addition, he holds the position of Specialty Chief Editor of the Journal Frontiers in Health Services, Implementation Science Section (2021-present). Previously, he held the esteemed role of Professor of Implementation Science and Patient Safety at King's College London, where he directed the Centre for Implementation Science from 2015 to 2023. Prior to this, he undertook several academic roles at the Patient Safety Translational Research Centre of Imperial College London between 2004 and 2015, both situated in the UK. Prof Nick Sevdalis's vision centers on achieving population health and enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery by applying psychological and behavioural sciences. He is deeply committed to fostering partnerships between stakeholders in academia, health services, charitable organisations, and industry. His research resides at the intersection of implementation and improvement sciences, coupled with applied psychology. He has contributed to over 450 publications.
