Dr. Jo Beth Jimerson is a professor of educational leadership and the William L. and Betty F. Adams Chair of Education at Texas Christian University. She completed her PhD studies in educational policy and planning at the University of Texas at Austin and, in 2021, won the TCU Chancellor's Award for Distinguished Achievement as a Creative Teacher and Scholar. She studies educational data use, instructional leadership, and the school principalship. Prior to her career in higher education, she worked for 13 years as a teacher and principal in Texas PK–12 schools. Her teaching disciplines include educational data use, qualitative research methods, instructional leadership, policy studies, and organizational behavior.
Dr. Ron Myers is an assistant professor of professional practice at Texas Christian University, where he oversees the Master's Program for students pursuing principal certification and educational leadership. He earned his PhD in educational administration, curriculum, and instruction from the University of Oklahoma. With three years of experience in higher education, he also dedicated 36 years to teaching and serving as a principal in a variety of contexts, including rural, suburban, and urban settings, at both elementary and secondary school levels. His teaching interests focus on the important role that principals play in fostering safe and healthy learning environments for all stakeholders.
