Yin Wei, Associate Professor, Director of Architecture Department, School of Architecture, Southwest Minzu University, Chengdu, China. He graduated from Chongqing University in 2006 with a master's degree in architectural design and theory. He has been engaged in architectural design and theory, urban planning, and design research for 20 years, with rich experience in disciplinary research and professional practice, participating in a number of national key engineering projects, and was honored as “Outstanding Young Engineering Survey Designer of Sichuan Province” by Sichuan Province Survey and Design Association. He is now a member of the Architectural Society of China, a director of the Residential Architecture Specialized Committee of the China Ethnic Architecture Research Association, and an expert of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Research Direction: Architectural Design and Theory, Traditional Village Protection and Development, Urban Renewal and Design Research, Complex Research and Design Practice.
Prof. Yin Zhang is a Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the Department of Architecture, School of
Architecture, Southwest Minzu University, Chengdu, China. He earned a Ph.D. at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2016. He is a member of the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy, China National Building Materials Group (China), and Beijing Solar Energy Research Institute. He is an Honorary Researcher at the Department of Engineering, University of Adelaide, Australia. He was a Research Professor at the College of Architecture and Environment, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China from 2018 to 2022. His research directions include construction technology, green buildings, digital design, sustainable living environment, low carbon and resilient cities.
