Odilon Souza Leite Barbosa is currently a master's student in Materials Science and Engineering at the Military Institute of Engineering (IME), Brazil, under the supervision of Dr. Valdir Florêncio Veiga Junior. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and has completed specializations in Quality, Safety, Environment, and Health, as well as in Project Management and Engineering. Odilon has extensive research experience in physical-chemical analyses, natural product extraction, and product development. He has worked on major projects, including the development of products using Amazonian plants and residues. His research interests are focused on polymeric composites, sustainability, bioeconomy, and natural resource utilization.
