Dr Colin Neil Moran is an Associate Professor in Health Sciences and Sport at the University of Stirling. He completed his PhD in Genetics at the University of Leicester. He currently co-leads research projects into the Daily Mile physical activity intervention, the genetics and epigenetics of sporting performance and the genetics and epigenetics of metabolic disease. He has published >40 publications in various journals as well as book chapters and government reports. He serves as a Section Editor and Associate Editor for various journals, Deputy Chair of Ethics at the University of Stirling and Deputy Associate Dean for Research in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Sport. His teaching disciplines include physiology, sports science, genetics and biology.
