Yuling He is an associate professor at North China Electric Power University. He received a BS, an MS, and a PhD from North China Electric Power University in North China Electric Power University in 2007, 2009, and 2012, respectively. He is a visiting fellow at the University of Nottingham, England (2018-2019). He is a member of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering and the Chinese Society of Electrotechnology. He is on the editorial board and a lead guest editor of “The International Journal of Electrical Components and Energy Conversion.” He has received several scientific awards, including the third-class Prize of Hebei Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress in 2019, the Third Prize of Hebei Provincial Technological Invention in 2017, etc. His research interests include (1) characterization, testing, and failure prevention of electrical equipment; (2) modelling of complex electromechanical systems; and (3) intelligent mechatronics equipment R&D.
