Sha Jiang is an Associate Professor at the College of
Veterinary Medicine, Southwest University. She also serves as the Executive
Director of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and
Veterinary Medicine (CAAV) and the Director of the Animal Welfare and Healthy
Breeding Branch of CAAV. She received her Bachelor’s from Northwest A&F
University in 2007 and completed her Ph.D. at the College of Veterinary
Medicine, Nanjing Agricultural University in 2013. She is mainly engaged in research
on veterinary surgery, livestock and poultry nutritional and metabolic diseases,
and animal welfare and health.
