Mr. Khaled Elanany, M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland, is a Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) with expertise in constitutive modeling and processing map development for materials engineering. His professional and scientific interests cover mechanical design, materials science, heat treatment, hot deformation, and Gleeble simulations, including welding simulation. Khaled’s experience includes the design of large-scale engineering projects such as turbine components, dam gate lifting systems, automated stop logs, rubber pump molds, and fatigue testing machines. He has also served as a teaching assistant at Delta University of Technology, sharing his knowledge in SolidWorks Essentials and Advanced modules. An active member of global engineering communities, Khaled has presented at prominent events like 3D EXPERIENCE WORLD and the European Economic Congress. As an Erasmus+ KA171 recipient, he is dedicated to fostering cross-border research and collaboration. Recently accepted for a PhD position at Montanuniversität Leoben in Austria, Khaled aims to advance materials engineering through cutting-edge research in constitutive modeling and processing map innovations.
Dr. Wojciech Borek, Ph.D. and MSc in Engineering, is an assistant professor in the Department of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland. His scientific interests include materials science, heat treatment, thermomechanical treatment, plastic deformations, and Gleeble simulations, especially Gleeble welding simulation. He is also a specialist in
steel, stainless steel, high-manganese austenitic steel, and light metal alloys. He has won ten national and international awards and honours. Dr. Borek has served, or is currently serving, as a contractor for more than eight research and didactic projects in Poland and abroad, a reviewer of numerous
scientific publications, and a co-promoter of two doctoral dissertations.
Dr. Saad Ebied currently serves as a lecturer at the
Department of Production Engineering and Mechanical Design Department Faculty of
Engineering of Tanta University. He obtained his Ph.D. at the Department of
Materials Science and Engineering of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and
Technology. He does research in materials engineering. Their current project is
‘Workability study of beta titanium alloys’.
