Dr. Lin Lu is a researcher at the Key Laboratory of Plant Protection Resources and Pest Management, Ministry of Education, Plant Protection College, Entomological Museum, Northwest A&F University. He completed his PhD studies in Agricultural Entomology and Pest Control at the Northwest A&F University. He recently led the the National Natural Science Foundation (U1603106) and the Shaanxi Provincial Scientific Foundation (2023-JC-YB-174). He has published 20 papers in various journals. His interests include Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, taxonomy, and phylogeny.
Prof. Dr. Yalin Zhang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Plant Protection, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University. He completed his Master’s and PhD studies in Agricultural Entomology and Pest Control Major at Northwest Agricultural University. He is mainly engaged in research on insect systematics, biodiversity, resource insects, and drug development. He has presided over more than 50 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has made important progress in the classification of Hemiptera, Cephalophora, and Lepidoptera butterflies; the development and utilization of resource insects such as cantharidin; the assessment of pollinator diversity; and the degradation of plastics.
