Dr. Tiane C. Finimundy is a Researcher at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), Bragança, Portugal. She completed her BS.c. studies in Pharmacy at the University of Caxias Do Sul, Spain, MS.c. studies in Proteomics, Genomics, and DNA Repair at the University of Caxias do Sul, Brazil, Ph.D. studies in Proteomics, Genomics, and DNA Reproduction at the University of Caxias do Sul, Brazil, Post-doctoral studies at the University of Trás-os-Montes Center for Transdisciplinary Studies, and Post-doctoral studies in Biotechnology at the Mountain Research Center, Portugal. Her research interests include extraction methods and the chemical characterization of natural products with bioactive properties, the analysis of in vitro and in silico biological activities of compounds with pharmacological interest, chromatographic methods in analyzing bioactive compounds, and different methods for incorporating and elaborating food matrices with natural ingredients, preservatives, flavors, and color fixers.
