EBRAHIM NASR ESFAHANI,
Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from
Kashan University, Iran, in 2007, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering
from IUAN, Iran, in 2010. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical
and computer engineering with Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville,
TN, USA. His current research interests include wireless power transfer.

INDRANIL BHATTACHARYA (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree (first class with distinction) in
electronics and communication engineering from India and the M.S. and Ph.D.
degrees in electrical engineering from Florida State University. He is currently
a Professor and the Chairperson with the Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering, Tennessee Technological University. He is the inventor of three
U.S. patents. He has been the Principal Investigator of U.S. $7 million funding
from agencies, like the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of
Energy. He has published 63 peer-reviewed technical papers in reputed journals
and conferences. He has supervised 10 Ph.D., 16 master’s, and 55 bachelor’s
students. His research interests include lithium and sodium-based battery
technologies, high-efficiency III–V solar cells, wireless power transfer, and
electromagnetics. He received the Tennessee Tech
University Outstanding Faculty award in Teaching in 2023. Nominated by
students, he also received the Tennessee Tech’s Centennial Scholar Mentor award
in 2021. He received the College of Engineering T.S. McCord award in 2024. He
also received multiple Wings Up 100 research awards.
