Dr. Cristina Bezzio is a physician and researcher at Humanitas University in Milan. She completed her Ph.D. in Gastroenterology at Milan University in 2018 and earned an M.S. in Hepatobiliopancreatic Endoscopy from Humanitas University. She serves on the editorial board of the scientific journal Digestive and Liver Disease as a section editor. She has coordinated and co-coordinated over 25 Phase II, III, and IV clinical trials for the approval of new drugs and has published several articles in national and international journals. Her research focuses on chronic intestinal inflammatory diseases, with an emphasis on clinical, endoscopic, and ultrasound perspectives.
Dr. Simone Saibeni is a gastroenterologist at the Gastroenterology Unit of Rho Hospital, ASST Rhodense, Milan, Italy. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Milan in July 1995 and completed his Ph.D. in Gastroenterology from the same University in February 2005. In November 2000, he specialized in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at the University of Milan. His interests include clinical, diagnostic, and research activities focused on inflammatory bowel diseases.
