Prof. Dr. Jie Chen is a faculty member in the Department of Geographics, School of Geosciences and Info-Physics, Central South University. He received a Ph.D. degree from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2010. He is mainly engaged in the research of remote sensing big data-driven geospatial intelligent cognition.
Prof. Dr. Min Deng received Ph.D. degrees from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2003, and from the Asian Institute of Technology, Khlong Nueng, Thailand, in 2004. He is a full professor in the fields of cartography, GIS, and remote sensing in the Department of Geo-Informatics, Central South University. He is currently the associate dean and a doctoral supervisor with the School of Geosciences and Info-Physics, Central South University, Changsha, China. He has published over 160 journal papers and three authored research monographs. His current research interests include geospatial data updating, spatio-temporal data mining, and spatio-temporal analysis and modeling.
