Dr. Wenjuan Shen is an associate professor in the Co-Innovation Center for Sustainable Forestry in Southern China, Nanjing Forestry University, Nanjing, China. She was a visiting research scholar at the Department of Geographical Sciences, University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA from 2015 to 2016. She then obtained a PhD in Forest Resources Management from the College of Forestry, Nanjing Forestry University in 2018. Her research interests include forest change and climate, forest biomass and carbon accounting, forest disturbance and regrowth, forest cover detection, and active and passive remote sensing.
Prof. Dr. Tao is a professor in the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering at Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. He obtained his B.E. degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University in 2006 and PhD in Geography from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA in 2012. His research interests encompass surface anisotropy and albedo modeling, data fusion of satellite products, and long-term regional and global surface radiation budget analysis.
