Prof. Sushant Ghoshtokumar Ghosh is currently a Professor & Hony. Director at the Centre for Theoretical Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia, in Delhi, India. He received his PhD degree from Nagpur University. He is also a Visiting Associate at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune (since July 2001) and was an Honorary Professor at the College of Agriculture and Engineering, School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, UKZN (from 2013 to 2016). His main research areas include Gravitational collapse, Spinning black holes, Exact solutions, Causal structure of singularities, Relativistic stars, Modified theories, General relativity, Black hole thermodynamics, etc. He is a Life Member of the Indian National Science Congress (Calcutta), Indian Mathematical Society (New Delhi), Indian Association of General Relativity and Gravitation (Pune), and South African Gravitational Society, RSA.
Prof. Aroonkumar Beesham is currently a Research Fellow at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Mangosuthu University of Technology, Jacobs, South Africa. Prof. Beesham was formerly a Senior Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences and has been in academia for many years. From 1979 to 1989, he served as a Lecturer at the University of Durban-Westville (now, the Westville campus of the University of KwaZulu-Natal) and the University of Zululand. He received his PhD degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT). Currently, his research interests mainly include Cosmology, Dark Energy, Black Holes, and the Mathematical modelling of COVID-19. He is a member of the South African Maths Society, South African Institute of Physics, International Society of General Relativity & Gravitation, Australasian Society for General Relativity and Gravitation, and Royal Astronomical Society, Indian Association for General Relativity and Gravitation.
