Seyda Eyupoglu received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Textile Engineering from Bursa Uludağ
University, Türkiye, in 2011, 2013, and 2018, respectively. She also received a Minor
degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bursa Uludağ University in 2011. From 2019
to 2022, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Textiles,
Clothing, Footwear and Leather, Vocational School of Technical Sciences, İstanbul
University-Cerrahpaşa, Türkiye. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department
of Textiles, Clothing, Footwear and Leather, Vocational School of Technical
Sciences, İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa. She has published about 90 papers in
various esteemed journals and conferences and has been serving as a member of
the review board for nearly 10 prestigious academic journals. Her current
research interests include cellulosic fibers, natural dyeing, ecological
textile processes, textile sustainability, bio-based materials, and textile
finishing processes.
Can Eyupoglu received a B.Sc. degree with high honors in Computer Engineering and a Minor degree in
Electronics Engineering from İstanbul Kültür University, Türkiye, in 2012, the
M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees with high honors in Computer Engineering from İstanbul
University in 2014 and 2018, respectively. From 2019 to 2021, he was an
Assistant Professor with the Computer Engineering Department, Turkish Air Force
Academy, National Defence University, İstanbul, Türkiye. He is currently an Associate
Professor and Head of Department in the Computer Engineering Department, Turkish
Air Force Academy, National Defence University. He has published about 80
papers in various esteemed journals and conferences, and has been serving as a
member of the review board for nearly 40 prestigious academic journals. He is
also on the editorial board of some reputable journals. His current research
interests include artificial neural networks, machine learning, image
processing, bioinformatics, and data privacy.
Nigar Merdan received B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Textile Education from Marmara
University, İstanbul, Türkiye, in 1980, 1988, and 1994, respectively. From 1995
to 2003, she was an Assistant Professor with the Textile Education Department, Faculty
of Technical Education, Marmara University. From 2003 to 2012, she was an Assistant
Professor with the Department of Textiles and Fashion Design, Faculty of
Architecture and Design, İstanbul Ticaret University, Türkiye. From 2012 to 2017,
she was an Associate Professor with the Department of Textiles and Fashion Design, Faculty of
Architecture and Design, İstanbul Ticaret University. She is currently a Full Professor
in the Department of Textiles and Fashion Design, Faculty of Architecture and
Design, İstanbul Ticaret University. She has published about 190 papers in
various esteemed journals and conferences. Her current research interests
include textile finishing, natural dyeing, cellulosic fibers, textiles, and
sustainability.
