Prof. Dr. Hang Qu is now an Associate Professor at the School of Science at Shantou University. He received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Jilin University in 2005 and 2007, respectively and obtained his PhD in Engineering Physics at the Polytechnique de Montreal in 2013. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a Research Associate at the Polytechnique de Montreal. Furthermore, he has served as a reviewer for Optics Letters, Optics Express, Journal of Sensors, and other journals in the field of optics and sensors for many years. His research interests mainly include R&D and the application of micro-nano structured waveguides, fiber optic biochemical sensing, new multi-material multifunctional fibers, electronic skins, and photonic crystal R&D and applications.
Dr. Xuehao Hu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Mons since 2022. He received his bachelor’s degree in optical information science and technology and his master’s degree in quantum optics from the Department of Physics, Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2005 and 2008, respectively, and his PhD in science of engineering and technology from the University of Mons, Mons, Belgium, in 2017. From 2019 to 2022, he was an Associate Professor at the College of Science, Shantou University, Shantou, China. His research interests include fiber Bragg gratings, tilted fiber Bragg gratings, polymer optical fiber sensors, and surface plasmon resonance and biosensors.
