Dr. Sávio Marcelino Gomes is currently a professor at the Federal University of Paraíba. He received his bachelor's degree from the Federal University of Campina Grande in 2018, his master's degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in 2020, and his doctorate from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in 2022. Dr. Sávio Marcelino Gomes is a member of the Work Group on Health LGBT+, Brazilian Association of Public Health (ABRASCO). In addition, Dr. Sávio Marcelino Gomes is a researcher at LabNutrir (UFRN-UFPB), conducting research and extensions in the field of food systems, focusing on social inequalities, gender diversity, food consumption, food and nutrition insecurity, and climate change.

Jose Luiz de Brito Alves is an adjunct professor C3 at the Federal University of Paraíba, linked to the Department of Nutrition of the Center of Health Sciences—Campus I (João Pessoa). He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nutrition from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2010, 2013) and a PhD in neuropsychiatry and behavioral sciences (2015) from the UFPE, with a sandwich period at Université Lyon 1, Lyon, France. He is accredited as a permanent professor at the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition Sciences/UFPB (concept 5) and the Multicenter Program in Physiological Sciences (Concept 5). He currently works as coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition Sciences/UFPB (PPGCN/UFPB) and first secretary of the National Forum of Postgraduate Coordinators in Food and Nutrition. He is the associate editor of the journal Probiotics and Antimicrobial Proteins and an ad hoc consultant for the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), FACEPE, and National Science Centre, Poland. He has experience in the areas of nutrition physiology, cardiovascular physiology, clinical nutrition, and translational Research, working mainly on arterial hypertension and autonomic dysfunction, modulation of the intestinal microbiota, obesity and associated disorders, and maternal nutritional disorders. He is the leader of the Translational Research Group in Nutrition and Cardiometabolic Diseases.
