Prof. Dr. Lei Qin received his Ph.D. from the Department of
Statistics, Central University of Finance and Economics in 2014. Currently, he
is a professor at the School of Statistics, University of International
Business and Economics. He is the executive director of the National Society
for Teaching and Research of Industrial Statistics and the director of the
National Society for Teaching and Research of Industrial Statistics, Healthcare
Big Data Society. He serves as a reviewer of Statistical Research, Mathematical
Statistics and Management, and Quantitative and Technical Economic Research. He
is also a guest editor of special issues of Mathematics and Frontiers in
Medicine. He is the chief expert of a major project of the National Social
Science Foundation. His research interests are data mining, health big data,
and data elements.
