Author Biographies

Xia Ding obtained her Bachelor’s degree in 2011 from Shandong University (SDU, Jinan in China). In September 2011, she commenced her Ph.D. studies in the School of Material Science and Engineering, Shandong University and received her Ph.D. degree in 2016. Her current research focuses on fabricating biomedical materials, functional polymers and rare earth permanent magnet material.
Bing Yang obtained his Master’s degree from the School of Information and Electrical Engineering, Hebei University of Engineering in 2012. In June 2016, he received Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemical from Shandong Normal University, working at the development of magnetic nano-catalytic materials. His research concerned the design and synthesis of nano-catalytic materials, degradable polymers and functional polymers. His interdisciplinary work ranges from optelectronic materials and devices, new material safety testing, and device fabrication and development. His current research focuses on designing and preparation of biobased resin and functionalization of natural polymer materials.
Zhaosheng Hou obtained his B.Sc in 1999 in chemistry from Shandong University  (SDU, Jinan in China). He did his master's thesis at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shandong University working on polymer liquid crystals. In June 2002, he commenced his PhD studies at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shandong University working on the development of novel aqueous-based polymers. After receiving his PhD degree in 2005, he was granted a postdoctoral fellowship in Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University (Beijing in China). His research concerned the design and synthesis of biomedical materials, degradable polymers, and functional polymers.
