Apostolos Korlos is Professor of Manufacturing Engineering at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the International Hellenic University. He is the Director of the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Laboratory (AMMT-Lab). He is the Dean of the Department of Creative Design and Clothing of the above university. His research interest and published work are in the area of Manufacturing Technologies, Machining Processes, CAD/CAM/CAE, Reverse Engineering, Rapid Prototyping, and Materials Testing & Characterization. He is member of the Editorial Board of several international journals and member of the Advisory Boards of International Conferences. He has been coordinator and/or participant in more than 25 National and EU-funded research and development projects. Furthermore, he has implemented numerous industrial projects that have been funded by national and European companies.
