Chen Wanxu earned a Ph.D. of Management and is an Associate Professor/Master's Supervisor at the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). He is engaged in research on ecological and environmental effects of urbanization, global change and human activities, and optimization and management of territorial space. He has presided over more than 20 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, general projects of Hubei Social Science Foundation, and national space planning projects. He has published more than 100 papers in SCI/SSCI and domestic geography journals, such as Land Use Policy, Cities, Environmental Impact Assessment Review, and Applied Geography. Fifteen of his papers were selected as ESI high-citation/hot papers (Top 0.1%).
